Three-hour webinar on Modern Slavery Act was provided by TAOS team through the TAOS Zoom-in platform. This training course was developed by ETI, TAOS has been selected as the local training organization to provide the training to enables participants to understand the newly adopted legislation and requirements, the instructions on supply chain mapping and emphasizes due diligence to identify and mitigate risks, and to share the good practices on remediation and solutions.
Workshop: ETI Base Code for Suppliers

One-day training on ETI Base Code was held at the TAOS training room in Shenzhen. TAOS has been selected by ETI as the local training organization to provide training on ETI Base Code. The training enabled participants to understand the basics of ETI Base Code and how to use the Code, to apply the Base Code to key aspects of international and Chinese labour laws, and to learn how to implement ethical trade and support healthy industrial relations in supply chains.

TAOS has been enlisted by amfori BSCI as a qualified local training organization to provide an Ethical Business Behaviour workshop to global suppliers throughout China. The workshop has successfully facilitated participants in a) gaining a familiarity with the concepts of integrity and ethical business behavior; b) achieving an understanding of BSCI principles regarding ethical business behavior; c) acquiring the skill set and knowledge base to remedy unethical business behavior.
Above all, we seek to train our participants to practice ethical business behavior and view the workshop as one step in a sustainable partnership with the brand.

Workshop: Social Insurance (SI): Challenges and Implementation Tips

Social insurance compliance is one of the biggest challenges for stakeholders in China supply chains seeking to implement ethical trading standards. As a result of recent changes to macro policies and government regulations, new practices have emerged in different regions. Many supplier factories in the field have faced the challenge to implement the social insurance policies.
To respond to these challenges, ETI has worked with local training partners to organize two one-day training workshops in January 2018 on the topic of “Social Insurance (SI): Challenges and implementation tips." The workshops received very positive feedback and due to an increase in training requests from local suppliers, TAOS at ETI's request, organized a highly successful workshop in March.
